$16 per hour Job Description We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Pawnbroker to join our team in Independence, MO. No prior pawn industry experience is required! We will fully train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

In this role, you will assist customers with collateral loans, buys, and retail sales. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Schedule & Shift Availability:

Open 7 Days a

Week :

Weekend availability is required.

Multiple Shifts Available :

We run two distinct shifts per weekday, allowing for flexible scheduling options. Exact schedules (Full-Time or Part-Time hours) will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and processing transactions efficiently. Qualify customers for loans and merchandise purchases through friendly negotiation. Evaluate general consumer goods for testing, valuation, and pricing. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure showroom floor. Work independently to complete daily task lists and operational goals. [1]

Qualifications:

Customer Service :

Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor are required.

Reliability :

Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain a consistent work schedule.

Motivation :

Highly driven to work independently without constant supervision.

Background :

Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check (no felony convictions) to comply with local licensing and federal firearms regulations. Preferred (But Not Required)

Knowledge:
