Boutique Associate Baby Bump Imaging & Boutique Lees Summit, MO Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Cash register operations Team management Retail math Full Job Description Job Summary Join our vibrant boutique team as a Boutique Associate, in our brand new location downtown Lee's Summit! We offer maternity and newborn clothing and items as well as prenatal ultrasounds. This position will also cross train in appointment scheduling for ultrasound services as well as retail duties. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits of merchandise Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges Upsell additional products and accessories to meet sales goals while providing personalized recommendations Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Support inventory management through stocking, labeling, and organizing products on the sales floor Assist in visual merchandising to create attractive displays that draw customer attention Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail environment Supervising experience is a plus; capable of guiding team members and supporting store operations Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for professional interactions Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without being pushy Knowledge of merchandising principles and stock management practices Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is advantageous Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor Join us as a Boutique Associate and become an integral part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
