Job Description

Job Description Oversee all functions of Saint Luke's East Hospital gift shop. Responsible for retail operations and volunteer staff. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform inventory purchasing, pricing, merchandising, marketing, inventory control, financial functions, vendor relations and volunteer staff training. Must be able to oversee and assist when necessary all Gift Shop, Gift Cart volunteers. This is a PRN position with hours increasing during the holiday season Assist in purchasing merchandise. Check in merchandise. Submit invoices for payment. Keep track of back orders. Train volunteers on gift shop procedures. Participate in Gift Shop Meetings with volunteers. Know the inventory levels. Assist in Gift Shop during busy periods of the day. Keep Gift Shop and storage areas organized.
