Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant entertainment team as a Bowling Counter Attendant, where your enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills will create memorable experiences for guests of all ages. In this energetic role, you'll be the friendly face at the bowling counter, managing reservations, assisting guests with their needs, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable bowling experience. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic resort or entertainment environment, combining hospitality, event management, and guest services. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Manage reservations and lane assignments efficiently to maximize guest satisfaction and operational flow Handle cash transactions accurately for lane rentals, shoe rentals, food, and beverages Assist guests with scoring systems, lane operations, and troubleshooting technical issues Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bowling counter area, including equipment and supplies Support event management by coordinating special group bookings or birthday parties Address guest concerns promptly with professionalism and conflict management skills to ensure positive experiences Requirements Previous experience in customer service, food service, or hospitality environments preferred Strong communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse guests Ability to handle cash accurately and operate basic POS (Point of Sale) systems Experience working with children or in youth-oriented activities is a plus Knowledge of event management or experience hosting group events is advantageous Conflict management skills to resolve guest issues effectively and diplomatically Lifeguard experience or certifications are beneficial but not mandatory; safety awareness is essential Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced setting This role is perfect for individuals passionate about creating fun-filled environments while demonstrating excellent guest services.
