Budtender Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable on the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods of consumption. Advise patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis. Educate patients on the safe use of their selected cannabis products. Execute patient transactions with high attention to detail and ensure accuracy in register transactions. Checking patients' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age and comply with Mississippi regulations. Maintain knowledge of current regulations and compliance requirements. Keep abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service. Assist in building a great company and business that disrupts the traditional retail model and embraces change. Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community. Embody the culture and values of The Green Standard and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives. Meet & exceed sales volume and KPI goals. Process patients' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system. Ensure that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times. This role is required to assist and/or perform other duties as assigned, as well as in other functions of the operation, including but not limited to inventory fulfillment, outreach, and visual merchandising. Monitor and restock inventory. Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday schedules.

Budtender Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred A valid medical cannabis worker's permit or license. Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable. Outstanding organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Proficient in phone etiquette and time management.
