Budtender Requirements:
Medical Cannabis Work Permit High school diploma or GED. Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits. Needs work permit from the state. Outstanding organizational skills. As a key ambassador for our brand, you'll combine your passion for cannabis products with your expertise in customer service to guide clients through their purchasing journey. Your energetic approach and comprehensive product knowledge will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every visitor leaves informed, satisfied, and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a vibrant industry while making a positive impact on our community. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them select products that meet their needs Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability and presentation are appealing Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep the sales floor well-stocked and organized Upsell products by highlighting new or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring professional communication at all times Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within a grocery store or similar retail environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product details and answer customer questions confidently Basic math skills for cash handling, POS operations, and retail math calculations Familiarity with merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail sales techniques Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions provided Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm meets your expertise! Pay:
$12.50 - $13.50 per hour
