Budtenders must provide customers with prompt service and quality products while maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable store environment. Budtenders also should keep abreast of the latest developments in cannabis laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age High school diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID Must pass any required background checks Must have a MS Medical Cannabis card Must posses a valid state cannabis workers permit or be able to obtain one before the start of employment Organized and flexible, with a team-player mindset Retail experience preferred (service industry or pharmacy experience preferred)

Responsibilities:

Check customer ID to verify age Demonstrate excellent customer service Cannabis business experience required Guide and direct customers in their cannabis purchasing journey Have the ability to use multiple computer screens to check in new patients and verify their identity while following all HIPAA regulations. Greet and welcome patients and customers and provide them with a positive first impression of the organization. Our fast-paced environment requires that you communicate clearly and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in person and on the phone Direct guests to the appropriate areas Ensure the waiting area is clean and inviting for guests at all times and check the restrooms throughout the day to replenish items as needed Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating Answer customer questions and concerns; ensure that they are well informed and leave the store satisfied with their purchases Process customer's payments via the dispensary's point of sale system to ensure compliance in all transactions Meet and exceed sales goals Maintain regular inventory levels of products and ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked Assist with opening/closing of the store and other tasks as assigned. Cleaning and organizing Reworking displays if/when needed Studying up on product knowledge (new strains, products, vendors) Assisting on daily inventory counts Performing other duties as assigned

Skills:
