Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong background in retail sales. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about various cannabis products, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your expertise will help customers make informed decisions while creating a welcoming atmosphere in our dispensary. Duties Assist customers in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs and preferences. Provide detailed product knowledge and demonstrations to educate customers about strains, effects, and consumption methods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring that inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations. Uphold all state regulations and company policies regarding the sale of cannabis products. Assist in training new staff members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards. Participate in ongoing education regarding new products, industry trends, and compliance requirements. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong understanding of retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Experience with product demonstrations is a plus. Supervisory experience is beneficial but not required. Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state regulations. A genuine interest in cannabis culture and products is essential.
