Job Description

Oscar's Fine Wine & Spirits is a fast-paced and fun work environment that thrives on taking care of its employees while supplying the best products and customer service in the greater Tupelo area. We are looking for a motivated, self starter with a willingness to learn about our products to join our team as we continue to grow and get busier! Duties include, but are not limited to , the following:
  • Greet, interact, and assist customers
  • Display and organize products in the store for customers to locate easily
  • Be knowledgable about products to better sell and upsell to customers
  • Help customers check out at the store counter
  • Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on the shelves
  • Help with back room organization (Must be able to lift over 50lbs repeatedly during shift) Starting pay is $12.
50 and can be negotiated after a 90 day probationary period. Opportunity for overtime is available to highly motivated employees. Bonuses can be made after probationary period based on sales. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills At least 1 year experience in retail sales and cash handling Proficiency in basic math and retail math Ability to operate a cash register and POS systems Knowledge of stocking and merchandising techniques Experience in a liquor store environment is preferred Summary As a Store Associate, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining an organized retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core responsibilities will include stocking shelves, processing transactions at the cash register, and assisting customers with their inquiries. Your proficiency in retail sales and cash handling will enhance the shopping experience, while your premium skills in merchandising and product demonstrations will help drive sales.
