Job Overview:

Placers is seeking a part-time retail Gear-Guide. You will provide customers with a premium experience and excellent customer service in an engaging and authentic way. You value the opportunity to help customers find the gear that supports their pursuit. In this role, you will report to the Store Manager. In order to remain a successful addition: Authentically engage with all customers to provide exceptional customer service and experience Become a brand expert on all things SITKA Actively participate in reaching sales and other KPI goals Assist in inventory procedures including floor replenishment, third party orders, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, etc. Uphold premium merchandising standards that create an exceptional customer experience Execute store cleaning responsibilities Provide an excellent checkout experience for all sales, returns and exchange transactions using POS Assist with store events Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of customer service and/or retail experience preferred Ability to effectively and accurately complete POS transactions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of outdoor gear preferred Excellent sales and customer service skills Must love outdoors, hunting knowledge preferred Excellent verbal communication skill High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:
