Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while guiding them through their cannabis purchasing experience. Your expertise in cannabis products and your ability to communicate effectively will help customers make informed choices that meet their needs. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Utilize retail sales techniques to promote products and maximize sales opportunities through upselling. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring that inventory levels are adequate. Conduct product demos to enhance customer understanding and engagement with our offerings. Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock management to ensure product availability. Follow all state regulations and company policies regarding the sale of cannabis products. Skills Strong knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is advantageous. Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems is important for daily transactions. Ability to perform retail math for accurate pricing and discounts. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and provide tailored recommendations. Experience with product demos is a plus, enhancing customer interaction and education.
