Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their cannabis journey. In this energetic role, you'll provide expert product knowledge, assist with selections, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and customer service skills will help foster a welcoming environment while promoting responsible consumption and product education. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging demos and explanations Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure product visibility and appeal Conduct regular inventory checks, stock replenishment, and product rotation to optimize sales opportunities Upsell complementary products by understanding customer preferences and offering tailored recommendations Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies regarding age verification, privacy, and safety protocols Experience Previous retail sales or customer service experience in a grocery store or similar environment preferred Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math skills necessary for accurate transactions Experience conducting product demos or educating customers about new products enhances effectiveness in this role Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism are essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced retail environments.
