Sales Associate — Toiffer Pet Outfitter Toiffer Pet Outfitter is looking for a new team member! We are a locally owned pet store in Missoula offering a curated selection of high-quality food, treats, toys, gear, supplements, and accessories for dogs and cats. Our products are thoughtfully selected, researched, often hard-to-find, and chosen with pets, people, and the planet in mind. We are passionate about dog and cat nutrition, excellent customer service, and creating a warm, welcoming space for Missoula pets and their people. Toiffer is more than a pet store — we are a community gathering place for animal lovers, and we love supporting local events, nonprofits, and causes that make Missoula better. We are looking for a friendly, reliable Sales Associate who loves animals, enjoys helping people, and is excited to learn more about dog and cat wellness and nutrition. The ideal candidate is someone who: Loves dogs and cats and enjoys interacting with pets and their people Has a strong interest in dog and cat nutrition, wellness, and quality products Provides excellent customer service with kindness, patience, and confidence Is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Has an upbeat attitude and works well as part of a team Is a self-starter and quick learner Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt in a busy retail environment Has a good sense of humor and a positive, can-do attitude Has retail or customer service experience, preferred but not required Has weekend availability Essential duties and responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a warm, friendly, and helpful way Help customers select food, treats, toys, gear, supplements, and accessories for their pets Learn and maintain strong product knowledge, especially in dog and cat nutrition Provide thoughtful guidance to customers based on their pets' needs Operate the register and complete transactions accurately Stay aware of current promotions, events, and store updates Assist with merchandising, displays, restocking, and maintaining a beautiful sales floor Help process incoming merchandise and keep products organized Monitor floor stock and communicate inventory needs with the team Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with online orders, local deliveries, and other store tasks as needed Follow store policies and procedures Communicate clearly with team members and help keep daily operations running smoothly Physical requirements: Ability to stand and move throughout the store for up to 8 hours Ability to lift and carry bags of pet food and other merchandise Ability to bend, reach, stock shelves, and assist customers throughout the store What's in it for you?
