In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting with sales and merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, a strong understanding of customer service principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising Stock shelves and ensure products are readily available for customers Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Assist in inventory management and restocking as needed Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth operation Uphold store policies and procedures, including phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team setting Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable, enhancing communication with all customers Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate where you can make a difference in our customers' shopping experience while developing your skills in the retail industry!
