Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and Understand benefits and features about our merchandise. Must be willing to learn about handmade pottery, wall art and other handmade items. Be efficient in App base POS system and inventory management. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges product knowledge Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling accurately Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Support supervising staff in managing daily store operations when needed Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures Ability to perform upselling and suggestive selling techniques Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail sales who enjoy engaging with customers and contributing to a positive shopping experience.
