Job Description
We are an expanding, high-volume retail brand opening new operations in the Charlotte area. We pride ourselves on creating vibrant physical environments where product excellence meets an unmatched guest experience. We are seeking an energetic, driven Cashier / Sales Associate to join our retail floor. If you have an outgoing personality, thrive on face-to-face human interaction, and want to learn real-world retail sales from the ground up, this role is for you. Position Overview In this live, customer-facing role, you will be the pulse of our retail store. You will actively engage with guests on the sales floor, drive revenue through direct consulting, and manage high-volume checkout lanes with speed and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Greet customers live on the retail floor, actively listen to their needs, and guide them to the right product solutions. Drive in-store sales by sharing deep product knowledge, presenting current promotions, and suggesting complementary add-ons. Operate touchscreen point-of-sale (POS) cash registers to process cash, card, and digital transactions flawlessly. Balance your cash drawer accurately at the beginning and end of every shift according to company accounting policies. Merchandize incoming stock, maintain visual display standards, and ensure a clean, welcoming store environment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years of experience in face-to-face retail sales, hospitality, restaurant hosting, or cash handling. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable, confident demeanor. Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail during cash handling and change calculation.
