Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products to enhance their outdoor spaces and home environments. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide expert advice on gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and related products Assist customers with product selection, demonstrate features, and answer questions about horticulture techniques or landscape solutions Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and receipts while maintaining a friendly attitude Stock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, replenishing inventory, and ensuring attractive displays through merchandising best practices Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including gardening tools, plants, floral arrangements, and outdoor equipment Support inventory management by conducting stock checks, logging shipments, and assisting with inventory counts Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Skills Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and floral design is highly desirable Experience with retail math for cash handling and sales transactions Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures to ensure smooth checkout experiences Organizational skills to manage stock levels, display setups, and store cleanliness efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse customer base effectively Join us to grow your career in retail sales while sharing your passion for outdoor living and home improvement!
