Furniture Sales Associate Furniture Distributors - Cherry Point, NC Full-Time | Hourly + Commission + Bonuses Furniture Distributors is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at our Cherry Point location. We are a family-owned business with more than 45 years of serving Eastern North Carolina and helping customers create homes they love. This position offers the opportunity to earn a competitive income while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are also open to candidates who may have the potential to grow into future leadership opportunities. Compensation $15.00 per hour base pay 2% commission on sales Monthly bonus opportunities, spiffs, and other incentives Average earnings typically range from $15-$32+ per hour , depending on performance Schedule Full-Time Thursday through Monday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays off Retail schedule includes weekends and some holidays Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Benefits Health insurance Paid vacation time Employee discounts Bonus opportunities Career growth and advancement potential Supportive family-owned company culture What You'll Do Greet and assist customers in selecting furniture, mattresses, and home furnishings Build relationships and create an exceptional shopping experience Learn product features and financing options Follow up with customers and maintain client relationships Assist with merchandising and showroom presentation Accurately complete sales paperwork and order entry Work toward individual and team sales goals What We're Looking For The most successful team members are: Self-motivated and driven to succeed Organized and detail-oriented Friendly, personable, and approachable Positive and upbeat Professional and dependable Comfortable talking with customers and building relationships Coachable and eager to learn Previous sales experience is helpful but not required.
