Job Summary We are seeking a Design Center Associate to join our dynamic team at Decks and Docks in the North Carolina area. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of providing top-notch materials for deck and dock projects while ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative design solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to understand their design needs and preferences. Assist in creating design layouts for decks and docks using company products. Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits. Maintain knowledge of current trends in outdoor design. Support sales efforts by upselling relevant products. Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the design process. Contribute to a positive team environment. Qualifications Proven experience in customer service or retail sales. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with design principles related to outdoor spaces is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Must be independent and driven to get new business by doing research and cold calling.
