In this fast-paced and welcoming environment, you will guide customers through product selections, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and help maintain a clean, compliant, and organized retail space. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will educate customers on cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, vapes, tinctures, and accessories, while ensuring all sales comply with state regulations and company policies. This position offers opportunities to expand your cannabis knowledge, develop retail sales skills, and grow within a community-focused organization dedicated to wellness, education, and responsible cannabis use. Duties Greet customers warmly and create a positive, welcoming dispensary experience. Assist customers with product selection by providing accurate information about cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, potency, and effects. Educate customers on responsible cannabis use while maintaining compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, including cash handling, debit transactions, and age/ID verification procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising and product displays. Stock inventory accurately, assist with receiving shipments, and conduct routine inventory counts in compliance with dispensary procedures. Answer customer questions regarding products, promotions, loyalty programs, and online orders. Support dispensary operations by following all safety, security, and compliance standards. Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service. Qualifications Must meet minimum age requirements established by state cannabis regulations. Previous retail sales, cashiering, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Interest in cannabis education and willingness to learn about cannabinoids, products, strains, terpenes, and consumption methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build customer relationships. Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain compliance standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or stock products as needed. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred. Why Join Us?
