Job Description

Part-Time Sales Associate
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Interact with customers by demonstrating & selling mattresses and other related products while providing best in class customer service. Perform operational functions, implement visual changes, and maintain store standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide highest level of customer service in the store. Follow company customer service principles. Demonstrate knowledge and remain current on all products. Use effective selling techniques to achieve business goals. Monitor inventory levels and communicate discrepancies to General Manager. Perform projects and assignments as directed by the General Manager. Assist in receiving/tracking vendor shipments and coordinating customer deliveries. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Treat all employees fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with company policy. Work Saturdays (10am - 6pm) and ALL key retail holidays (Black Friday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day) Work at least 1 non-weekend shift (4+ hours per shift) each week
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
No retail or mattress sales experience required. We'll train you. Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time. Availability to work 8-20 hours per week, including weekends and key holidays (e.g. Black Friday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day). Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
