Job Description
Job Summary Store Associates serve as the primary point of contact for customers. They help ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked store while delivering fast and friendly service. Duties Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Operate cash registers and process cash, credit card, and mobile payments Handle lottery, tobacco, and age-restricted product sales according to company policies and local laws Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays Receive and organize inventory deliveries Monitor product freshness and remove expired items Prepare food and beverages according to company standards Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, restrooms, and food preparation areas Resolve basic customer concerns and answer questions Follow safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures Assist with opening and closing store duties Skills Customer service and communication skills Cash handling and basic math skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Problem-solving abilities Teamwork and collaboration Reliability and punctuality Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods Lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds Bend, reach, and stock shelves Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
