In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Your energy and proactive approach will contribute to a positive shopping experience that keeps customers coming back. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product information and store navigation Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform accurate cash handling and cashiering duties Post on social media outlets to encourage foot traffic Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment, stock counting, and merchandising updates Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support supervising staff in daily store operations and ensure adherence to store policies Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in bilingual settings (English and another language) preferred Supervising experience is a plus, with the ability to guide team members and support store operations Knowledge of store procedures, merchandising techniques, and stock management is advantageous Strong communication skills paired with a friendly attitude to foster positive customer interactions Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
