Music Store Sales - Team Member

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on musical instruments, accessories, and related products. Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits of various instruments and equipment. Assist customers with selecting products that meet their needs, upselling when appropriate to enhance their experience. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory. Manage stock levels by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing backroom inventory efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone or in person while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Support store operations through cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and ensuring accurate retail math practices. Promote store promotions and product demos to increase sales opportunities. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from satisfied customers. Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a grocery store or specialty retail environment such as musical instruments or electronics. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of music products or experience conducting product demos will help you excel in this role. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for building positive relationships with shoppers. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store displays will support your success in creating an inviting shopping space. Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
