Counter Sales Associate

Job Overview:

Tool Warehouse is seeking a customer-focused, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Associate. This position is primarily responsible for assisting customers in person and over the phone, identifying products, processing orders, and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong problem-solving skills, and is comfortable in a hands-on industrial environment.

Schedule:

Full-time Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5

PM Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Counter Sales (Primary Focus) Assist walk-in customers with product selection and purchases Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Provide product information and recommendations Process customer orders accurately and efficiently Build positive relationships with customers Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally Warehouse Support Pick and prepare customer orders Receive and stock inventory Assist customers with loading and unloading products Product Assembly Assemble products using hand and power tools Ensure products meet quality standards before delivery

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16" Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience using cordless impacts, hand tools, wrenches, sockets, and screwdrivers Experience reading calipers and measuring equipment Knowledge of hardware specifications, thread sizes, and mechanical components

Understanding of:

1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, and 1/2-13 thread sizes Bolt hole centers Product specifications and measurements
