Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and help drive sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. Utilize effective communication skills to upsell additional products and enhance the customer experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring stock levels are adequate and displays are appealing. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures. Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in sales analysis and inventory management. Experience operating POS systems is advantageous but training will be provided. A passion for sales and a desire to contribute to team success is essential.
