Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate the POS system and cash register accurately, handling cash transactions with precision. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively upsell and cross-sell items. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the shopping experience. Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise attractively. Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, ensuring clear communication at all times. Skills Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers. Strong retail sales experience with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus. Effective upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
