Company Overview Since 1955, State Street Discount has been serving the Seacoast community. As a Family-Owned business, we have the largest Audio/Video/Appliance Showroom in the Seacoast. We are committed to providing our customers with a wide selection of quality products and exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience. Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Appliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will guide customers through appliance selections, showcase product features, and help create a positive and engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sales experience, and a genuine interest in helping customers find solutions that best meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting appliances that meet their needs, preferences, and budget. Demonstrate product features, functions, and benefits to showcase value. Provide expert guidance on installation, warranties, financing, and service options. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Meet or exceed individual sales targets. Stay updated on new products, industry trends, and competitor offerings Process sales transactions accurately and ensure a smooth checkout experience. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and after-sales support professionally.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience in appliances, demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales goals. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain product features, benefits, and value to customers. A customer-focused mindset, committed to providing excellent service and building lasting relationships. Solid product knowledge about appliances and their technology. Motivated to achieve sales targets Basic technical understanding of appliance functions, specifications, and installation requirements. A collaborative team player who works well with colleagues to support store objectives and customer satisfaction. Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and provide effective solutions. Well-organized, capable of managing leads, follow-ups, and sales transactions efficiently. Flexible and adaptable, able to work weekends, evenings, sales or holidays as needed

$60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
