Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Budtender, where you'll be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our premium cannabis products. This energetic role is all about creating an engaging, educational, and welcoming environment, ensuring each guest receives personalized service that exceeds expectations. As a key ambassador for our brand, you'll combine your passion for retail with your enthusiasm for cannabis education to help customers make informed choices and enjoy their experience to the fullest. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will drive sales, foster customer loyalty, and support our mission to promote responsible consumption. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and guiding them through product options. Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication. Assist with sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash and electronic payments accurately. Maintain an organized and attractive retail space through merchandising, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented. Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, performing regular stock checks, and assisting with product replenishment. Demonstrate professionalism in phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely. Support the team with supervising responsibilities when needed, including training new staff or overseeing daily store operations. Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and retail safety standards. Participate in product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, fostering an informed community of consumers. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is preferred but not required. Knowledge of cannabis products, including effects and consumption methods, is highly desirable; willingness to learn is essential. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently. Basic math skills for retail transactions and inventory calculations; attention to detail is crucial.
