Duties Greet customers warmly and determine their automotive needs with active listening and effective communication skills Assist customers in locating and selecting the correct parts, using inventory management systems and product knowledge Provide technical advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures to support customer decisions Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and electronic payments with professionalism Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and ensuring the availability of high-demand items Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, parts delivery, and special requests efficiently Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all safety protocols are followed during daily operations Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and CDK for inventory tracking, sales reporting, and order management to optimize store performance Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and vehicle maintenance to provide credible advice Proven negotiation skills to upsell products and close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction Experience with inventory management software such as CDK or similar platforms Familiarity with retail sales procedures including POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain an orderly work environment Customer service orientation with a friendly phone etiquette for engaging remote inquiries or follow-ups Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis related to sales trends and inventory control Dealership or retail experience in automotive parts sales is highly desirable to understand industry standards and customer expectations

Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
