Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-centric approach will drive sales and create memorable shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through our wide selection of products, offering expert advice on gardening, landscaping, floral design, and more. Your passion for retail and horticulture will help customers find the perfect solutions for their outdoor and indoor spaces while ensuring smooth store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to lawn care, gardening, floral design, and landscape maintenance. Provide expert advice on horticulture practices, plant care, and landscape solutions to meet customer needs. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store remains tidy and inviting. Process customer transactions smoothly using cashiering skills while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishment, and supporting merchandising efforts. Communicate product features and benefits clearly to diverse customers, including multilingual shoppers when applicable. Requirements Previous experience or interest in pet care, retail, vet office or pet grooming is required. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with retail operations such as POS systems, cashiering, and stock management. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain attractive displays. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising. Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and active listening skills.
