Rago Brothers Shoe & Leather Repair | Morristown, NJ For over 114 years , Rago Brothers has been a family-owned leader in fine shoe and leather repair, trusted by clients across the U.S. for uncompromising craftsmanship, honesty, and care. Our reputation was built one client at a time — and we are looking for a Senior Retail Representative who wants to actively grow relationships, elevate the client experience, and represent our brand with pride. This role is ideal for someone who sees retail not as "ringing people up," but as relationship-building, problem-solving, and service excellence .
The Role:
As a Senior Retail Representative, you are a brand ambassador and client advocate . You set the tone for the entire Rago Brothers experience — from the first greeting to long-term client loyalty. Serve as the primary point of contact for 50-100+ clients per day , delivering a warm, confident, and elevated experience Proactively build strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs, concerns, and expectations Take ownership of client interactions — follow-ups, problem resolution, and ongoing communication — to create trust and repeat business Handle complex or escalated client situations with professionalism, integrity, and calm confidence Use storytelling, expert product and service knowledge, and honest guidance to help clients make the right decision — not just a sale Leverage in-store systems and technology to ensure smooth service, accurate records, and personalized client experiences Contribute to a polished, organized, and visually elevated retail environment that reflects the quality of our work Collaborate with colleagues to maintain operational excellence and a unified, client-first culture Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment where no two days — or clients — are the same
Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking high-energy, self-motivated professionals who want to grow, learn fast, and actively contribute to the success of the business — not just follow instructions. 2+ years of customer service or retail experience (luxury, fashion, hospitality, or premium service experience is a strong plus) A strong client attitude — you naturally think in terms of relationships, trust, and long-term value A high degree of ethics, honesty, and integrity — our clients trust us with their most valued items, and that trust matters Confidence, warmth, and strong communication skills (verbal and written) The ability to adapt to different client personalities and complex situations with ease A proactive mindset — you look for ways to improve the client experience and the business Comfort using technology and systems to enhance service and organization Pride in presentation — you care about how the space looks, how the brand feels, and how clients perceive us Position Requirements Required to work 4 Saturdays per month (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM) Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift Proficient in English (Spanish bilingual skills are a plus) Why Join Rago Brothers?
