Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Budtender & Brand Ambassador to help elevate our brand presence and engage with our community. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to combine cannabis retail operations, creative content development, brand promotion, and direct customer interaction. As a vital representative of Jesters Joint, you will inspire audiences through social media content, event participation, and authentic on-the-job storytelling while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and professionalism will help us connect with diverse audiences while showcasing our store, products, and values. Retail Operations Assist customers with product selection and education Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems Verify customer identification and maintain compliance standards Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising displays Assist with inventory management and restocking Support opening and closing procedures Brand Ambassador & Content Creation Participate in photoshoots, videos, and social media content creation during work hours Represent Jesters Joint in marketing campaigns and promotional events (in-store and off-site) Assist with educational and lifestyle content creation Promote a positive and professional brand image Collaborate with management on creative marketing initiatives Serve as an on-camera representative of the company when requested All promotional activities will be conducted in compliance with applicable state and local cannabis regulations Preferred Experience Previous cannabis industry experience is highly desirable Social media management or content creation experience with a portfolio of work or active channels Strong communication and customer engagement skills Experience working events, promotions, or community outreach initiatives Knowledge of branding principles and marketing strategies Ability to educate customers regarding product features, categories, and usage information Familiarity with customer signups, QR code campaigns, loyalty programs, and data collection systems Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable appearing in photos and videos for marketing purposes Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company positively in customer-facing and public-facing environments Cannabis knowledge preferred Retail, hospitality, sales, influencer, modeling, promotional, or content creation experience is a plus Application Requirements Please submit: Resume Social media handles and/or content portfolio (if available) Participation in photography, video, social media, and other marketing content is an essential function of this position.
