Part-Time Store Associate The Thrift Whisperer - Ocean Grove, NJ Part-Time | 20-25 hours per week The Thrift Whisperer is hiring a dependable, friendly, and motivated Part-Time Store Associate to join our growing team in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. This is more than a typical retail position — this role is the owner's right hand and a key part of daily store operations. It's a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new business and grow with us. For the right person, this position could lead to a 30-37 hour per week full-time management role. This job is a great fit for retirees, someone returning to the workforce, anyone looking for a part-time position, or someone who loves fashion, thrift, and working with people. Responsibilities Work the register and assist customers Provide friendly customer service Tag, organize, and stock clothing and merchandise Help keep the store clean and welcoming Assist with social media posting Support the owner with daily store operations Qualifications Reliable and hardworking Friendly and comfortable with customers Organized and detail-oriented Able to multitask and take initiative Comfortable with social media Retail experience is a plus, but not required.
