The Universal Group is seeking a motivated Sales & Customer Support Representative (CSR) to serve as the vital link between our customers and the outside sales team. Located centrally in Philadelphia, Maple Shade and Cinnaminson, NJ near Pennsauken High School, this is a new position being added to the CSR team. Work schedule is a day shift, Monday-Friday. In this role, you will manage existing accounts, provide critical data analysis to drive sales efforts, and ensure our long-time customers receive exceptional service. Experience in wholesale industrial parts customer service or general customer service preferred. The successful applicant will be proactive, comfortable with detail-oriented work, have strong follow up skills, ability to multi-task, and can build strong connections with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Account Management & Order Fulfillment (60%):
  • Serve as the primary inside contact for existing, long-time customers, processing incoming orders efficiently via e-mail, e-Commerce, and phone.
  • Handle customer follow-ups and inquiries (tracking shipments, invoice copies, back-order status).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints - become a reliable problem-solver. Sales Team Collaboration & Data Analysis (40%):
  • Work side-by-side with an assigned outside salesperson as a two-person team managing a specific geographic sales territory.
  • Utilize Oracle NetSuite to pull analytical sales data for targeted efforts and assist the Sales Manager with inventory reports and special projects.
