The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in educating customers about our products, assisting them in making informed choices, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in our dispensary. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding cannabis products. Provide detailed information about various strains, edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis-related items. Utilize cash handling skills to process transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Supervise junior staff members and provide training as needed to enhance team performance. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention. Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and state regulations related to cannabis sales. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in the grocery store or similar environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems is essential. A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various products is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed. Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
