Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their cannabis journey. In this dynamic role, you'll provide expert product knowledge, personalized recommendations, and exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and educational experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced retail setting dedicated to health, wellness, and community engagement. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs and preferences Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and responsible consumption practices Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos and explain features to enhance customer understanding and confidence Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized on shelves Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options Manage inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and stock rotation to keep displays fresh and appealing Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely Assist with basic retail math for daily sales reconciliation and cash balancing Support supervisory staff with training new team members or overseeing daily operations when needed Experience Previous retail sales experience in a grocery store or similar environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to oversee daily store operations Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve diverse customer communities Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product details and answer customer questions effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transactions Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques enhances customer engagement Knowledge of cannabis products or related health/wellness items is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided Join us in creating a positive shopping experience where education meets exceptional service.
