Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Chocolatier and Retail Sales Associate, where your passion for premium chocolates and exceptional customer service will shine! Responsibilities Prepare and craft high-quality chocolates, confections, and specialty treats with precision and care. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about our offerings and encourage tastings to boost sales. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with selections. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain attractive merchandising displays, restock shelves regularly, and ensure the store remains clean and organized. Upsell products by highlighting new items or promotions to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Use excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries from customers or vendors. Assist with inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and managing product demos to promote featured items. Supervise or support team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellent service. Ensure compliance with safety standards and store policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all shoppers. Experience Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers effectively. Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs better. Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role. Supervising experience is beneficial but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stock management, and grocery store operations will help you excel in this position.
