Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Store Team Member and become the friendly face that makes shopping enjoyable and efficient for every customer! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of daily store operations, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product displays, and ensuring the store remains organized and inviting. Duties Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure displays are attractive and well-maintained through effective merchandising and stocking practices Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and participating in periodic stock counts Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Support sales initiatives through suggestive selling techniques and promoting special offers or promotions Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings is a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn new technology quickly Demonstrated ability to supervise or assist team members in a collaborative environment is advantageous Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail setting is beneficial but not mandatory Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and positive attitude are key to success in this role Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our store's success!
