Part-Time Retail & Rental Associate Location:

Little Egg Harbor, NJ About the Role We are looking for a dependable, energetic team member to assist with kayak rentals, customer service, and order fulfillment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being active and working around the water. Training is provided, but prior sales or retail experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Assist with kayak rental preparation and turnaround Help customers check in and out Load and unload kayaks for customers Fulfill online orders (packing and processing shipments) Maintain store cleanliness and organization Support the sales manager and assist customers as needed Operate POS system and handle transactions Candidate Skills Required Ability to lift and maneuver heavy kayaks (50-100+ lbs) Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Strong customer service and communication skills Available for weekends and at least one major summer holiday (Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, or Labor Day Weekend) Preferred Prior retail sales experience (marine/outdoor industry preferred) Passion for fishing, kayaking, or boating strongly preferred Compensation $15-$20 per hour , depending on experience Employee discount on select gear (terms apply) About Us Great Bay Outfitters is a specialty kayak fishing and paddlesports retailer serving the Great Bay and surrounding coastal waters.
