Job Summary Must be 21+ Prior Smoke/ Tobacco shop experience of 1 year or more is required. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product selections, demonstrations, and answering questions about merchandise Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products and services by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is visually appealing Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate transactions and change management Collaborate with team members to ensure store standards are met and sales goals are achieved Experience Prior smoke shop, vape shop, tobacco, convenient store retail is required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing tasks Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer populations effectively Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers and team members confidently Basic math proficiency is required for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations Experience with merchandising, stock management, or product demos will set you apart in this role This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise in a fast-paced environment.
