Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a reliable, high-energy individual to join our team at Direct Mail Service. As a 3rd party shipping center, we are a one-stop shop for our community. You won't just be behind a counter; you'll be an expert problem-solver helping customers navigate shipping options, professional packing, and document services.
What You'll Do Expert Packing:
Custom-box and secure everything from fragile heirlooms to heavy equipment to ensure safe transit.
Shipping Logistics:
Use our multi-carrier software to compare rates and transit times for UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
Print & Document Services:
Operate high-speed copiers and printers; provide finishing services like laminating, notarization, and faxing.
Customer Support:
Greet every customer with a smile, answer phone inquiries, and help "un-complicate" the shipping process for them.
Store Upkeep:
Manage mailbox mail sorting, restock retail displays, and keep the center clean and organized.
What We're Looking For Experience:
Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume work setting
Tech Skills:
Comfortable using Windows-based software, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and basic office hardware.
Physical Ability:
You must be able to stand for long periods and lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Attention to
Detail:
Precision is key when handling legal documents and sensitive shipments.
Notary Potential:
Willingness to become a commissioned Notary Public (we will help with the process!). Why Join Us?
