As a vital part of our retail operation, you will combine your passion for customer service with your knowledge of our product offerings to educate and assist customers responsibly and confidently. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assess their needs to recommend suitable cannabis products and accessories. Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and responsible consumption practices. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Conduct product demos to showcase new items, highlight features, and promote upselling opportunities. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Manage inventory levels through stock checks, product rotation, and reporting discrepancies. Uphold all compliance regulations related to age verification, sales limits, and security protocols. Provide excellent customer service via in-person interactions and phone etiquette to answer questions or assist with orders. Assist with store cleanliness, safety procedures, and overall retail operations to create a positive shopping environment. Support training or supervising new team members as needed to ensure consistent service quality. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers. Knowledge of cannabis products, including product demos and upselling techniques. Experience in merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining store displays. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with customers. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management. Prior experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not required.
