Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for our customers seeking cannabis products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to educate, assist, and create a welcoming environment for both new and experienced consumers. As a key ambassador of our brand, you will ensure every guest receives personalized service, product recommendations, and a positive shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster customer loyalty while promoting responsible consumption. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and offering tailored product recommendations. Educate customers on different cannabis strains, consumption methods, and product effects to ensure informed choices. Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, highlighting their benefits and usage tips. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain an organized sales floor through merchandising, stocking shelves, and ensuring product displays are attractive and compliant with regulations. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and restocking shelves efficiently. Uphold all safety protocols and adhere to state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions. Support team members with supervising experience in managing daily operations during shifts when needed. Use excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations over the phone. Promote upselling opportunities by suggesting complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction. Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with diverse customers in a friendly manner. Experience with retail sales environments, especially grocery stores or similar retail settings involving customer interaction. Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays that attract attention. Ability to conduct product demos confidently while explaining features clearly and engagingly. Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve a diverse clientele. Supervising experience is beneficial for supporting team leadership during shifts. Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over the phone or via messaging platforms. Familiarity with stock management procedures including stocking shelves and inventory checks.
