Budtender

Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in educating customers about our product offerings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere within the dispensary. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding cannabis products. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that products are organized and displayed attractively. Conduct product demos to educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and effects. Upsell products by suggesting complementary items based on customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary environment to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking. Requirements Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred, with a strong understanding of customer service principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers. Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus; willingness to learn about strains, effects, and consumption methods is essential. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
