Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Valid and clean NM driver's license
- Organizational and scheduling skills
- Ability to read maps and locate addresses; GPS knowledge helpful
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
- Ability to handle and defuse challenging situations with tact
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Experienced working in a fast paced environment Quick learner
- Demonstrated understanding of Habitat beliefs and ideas
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
Preferred:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record
- Experience with route driving and delivery operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to commercial driving
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to ensure accurate and efficient route planning
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and assist customers with purchases.
- Maintain organization for merchandise and displays.
- Helping with loading, unloading, stocking, and possibly assisting customers on the sales floor.
