Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities Welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere. Engage with customers to identify their needs, asking insightful questions to better understand their preferences and requirements. Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations Efficiently process sales transactions, ensuring accuracy when handling payments and issuing receipts. Spot opportunities to up-sell complementary items, such as coordinating kitchenware and accessories, to enhance the shopping experience. Retail Sales Associate Skills 2+ years' retail sales experience preferred High school diploma/GED required High-energy, friendly personality Capable of interpreting customers' words and showing them products that meet their needs Basic addition, subtraction and calculator skills Computer skills necessary: Point of Sale software experience also required A good attitude and willingness to learn Wages based upon experience
