  • Full-time Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Furniture Sales & Clerical Associate for weekends and closing shifts (11:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM).
This position combines sales responsibilities and showroom organization with clerical duties to ensure a smooth and professional operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance on furniture products and features.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Actively engage customers on the sales floor to drive sales and build relationships.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
  • Assist with loading and moving furniture, including placing items into customers' vehicles.
  • Stay current on product offerings, inventory levels, and promotions.
  • Accurately process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Cross-sell and recommend complementary products to enhance customer purchases.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service standards.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, marketing efforts, and store layout enhancements.
  • Perform clerical tasks to support daily operations.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic math and computer skills; experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture safely and efficiently.
  • Reliable and punctual, with availability to work closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
