Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Opens the restaurant at the prescribed time and ensures the reception area is clean and ready for guests to enter Inspect all menus to ensure their condition and cleanliness Review the reservation listing and make recommendations as to the set-up of the restaurant for the most efficient seating Seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner and ensure any specials needs have been taken care of Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations Maintain all workspaces and materials at a high level of cleanliness Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting Demonstrate a guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the guest experience. Effectively communicate with our guests and other Team Members Assign servers to sections, confirm and manage reservations, and assign guests to tables while communicating with servers and managers Be knowledgeable of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation Assisting customers with questions regarding activities within the casino for that day Maintain a clean work area, profession appearance and present positive customer service techniques Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties Answers phone inquiries and takes down messages for customers as necessary. Ensures proper seating rotation Continuously monitor dining room to make sure it is properly maintained, and floor is free of debris
