Retail Sales Associate/Cashier

We are looking for a full-time sales associate who is outgoing, friendly, and has a positive personality. We are a small company that prides ourselves in great customer service. We have been in business for 40 years! We are looking to add another dedicated team member to our staff. Sales Associate responsibilities:

Greet customers when they walk through the door Ask customers if there is an item they need help looking for Write down all sales when ringing them into the cash register Packaging all product for the customer, so that it will not get broken on the way home Restock all items sold during that shift Work on projects during downtime Price new products Making new displays for the ever-changing new merchandise Closing/opening duties including stocking of packing material, cleaning glass, taking out the garbage Opening duty of counting in the registers Closing duty of counting out and balancing at the end of the shift Cashier/Sales Associate skills Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly Previous experience in a retail store or as a cashier Positive, helpful attitude towards customers and your fellow teammates Ability to process credit cards, debit cards, cash transactions, returns and refunds Capable of lifting 30 pounds or more, and standing for long periods of time Knowledge of crystals or stones is very helpful but not crucial Please come in and fill out an application
